3 Books for YOU!
Hello again!
It's nearly that time of the year, when Christmas shopping is going to happen.
But it's also that time of the year when you're on the sofa with your cup of tea in front of the fireplace being all snug.
Here are 3 books I recommend you to read during the holidays (they are not Christmas related).
'A Discovery Of Witches' by Deborah Harkness - Now, if you're the type of person who like mystery, science and romance mixed together... This is for you! OMG! Mind Blown! I would recommend this book to anyone! I even made my chemistry teacher hooked! It's about a witch, who has been neglecting her powers, because of her past and she suddenly have to accept and understand her powers after meeting a 'oh so delicious guy'. It's not the easiest book to read, but once you pass the first 30 pages then you are good to go!
'Switched' by Amanda Hocking - This book is like any girl teen books out there. It has romance. Adventure. Mystery. and it's the perfect light read. This books sucks you in! and after 4 hours you're done reading it. The story is basically about a girl who suddenly find that she has been living a lie for the sake of her protection. That all I'm going to say. No more spoilers!
'V for Vendetta' by Alan Moore (writer) and David Lloyd (illustrator) - I don't know how to explain this book/comic, but I hated the first 10 pages because I didn't understand the techniques of a comic book and it was very frustrating. As I passed the first 10 pages, I ended up wanting to read the book more and more. There is something gripping about the book. Its mystery, adventurous, blood sucking (this book is not related to vampires, just wanted to use the word). I recommend this book if you're 15 or older.
Those are my 3 Books for You!
I hope you would be able to pick them up for you or a Christmas present for someone, because they oh so delicious.
See you next week
