Since Autumn is basically knocking on the front door, these are my summer empties...
The Aromatherapy Associates Mini bath oil was one of the first products that ended up in my empties bag. I bought myself a mini from a Christmas Sale on Feel-Unique as the "original" size is a whopping £45. I was curious about this highly hyped up bath treat. The one I got in particular reminded me of eucalyptus oil; which can be bought in the drugstore for a lot cheaper... Even though, this scent is cheaper elsewhere, it was handy to have when I was feeling under the weather. I would also like to add, the 'throw' of the scent was pretty strong; a cap full of the mini bottle was enough. Was it worth it when I needed it? Definitely. Would I buy the full bottle of this stuff? Hell no.
Next up is another pack of the Ganier In-fused oil wipes which I thought I finished up... Like I said in my Spring Empties, these were good for removing all my makeup, but sometimes I would feel a slight stinging sensation. Would I use this again if I was pinched? Yes... However, I know could find something just as good that doesn't sting my face.
A pack of wipes that doesn't sting my face are Simple's Kind to Skin Cleansing Wipes. I got these wipes in the most random place... Iceland - who would have guessed! These were sold as a pack of two for only £2-3. Bargain! Plus, one pack comes with 25 wipes! At first, I was super apprehensive about these wipes, as everyone was yapping about how great these are. Personally, at the time, wipes are just wipes - in my hand at least. But, who knew now I could be so excited for wipes! Since these wipes are so great, I kinda wanna try the micellar version as I would imagine it to be similar to these wipes, but on steroids.
The last makeup removing product I used up is Nivea's Cleansing/Micellar Water for Ance Prone Skin. It effectively removes my makeup, which includes liquid lipstick - thumbs up for that... But, I honestly can't tell the difference between Garnier's Micellar Water and this particular one... Price wise I guess is similar... So, my advice is 'choose the one that floats your boat...'.

When it comes to skincare, I am always looking for the new best thing. However, I am pretty scared when it comes to exfoliators. Chemical exfoliant usually contains some sort of acid; and the word 'acid' tends to have negative connotations. So, I usually stick to a physical exfoliant like the Simple's Kind to Skin Smoothing Facial Scrub. This scrub is nothing fancy. It feels like it gets rid of the dead layer of skin, but it doesn't feel like it cleans my pores. I wouldn't repurchase this for a deep exfoliation; but if I was a pinched, I wouldn't mind using it again as it is under £5. On a more positive note, this contains rice which is great for brightening the skin.
The next product has lasted me for 9 months (9 MONTHS! - I think...), and it is the Origin's Checks and Balance Face wash. If you checked out my Summer Skincare Routine, then you'll know I can't tell a difference between one cleanser from another; but I do know when it's bad. Fortunately this is not a bad one as I unconsciously bought a back-up. By unconsciously, I mean I wanted to try a different cleanser, but I ended up buying this again without thinking. So, you know that this is a goody.
My most recent skincare product I used up is the Nivea Toner for Combination/Oily Skin. I keep bouncing back and forth between different toners as I usually cannot see the results on my face. I usually like to incorporate toners in my routine as I feel like it is hydrating my face; but, since I cannot tell the difference between each one...I might not be the best candidate to recommend this... However, Boots own brand, Boots Simply Sensitive Gently Refreshing Toner is my favourite one I tried so far. I highly recommend it for hydrated skin!
And the last skincare product I used up is Benefit's It's Potent! Eye Cream. I believe in a previous empties I said I didn't like this, but I think I been using it wrong. I have seriously dry under eyes, so this only works when I apply more product than I previously thought I should to make my eyes feel nourished. However, it still makes my eyes water, and there are no results... And so, the hunt continues!
The only body product I remember putting into my empties bag is the Yes To Blueberry Shower Wash. This works just like Original Source shower wash which is usually £2 or under. So, would I buy this again... Probably not.

The first makeup product is Kiko's Volume Attraction Mascara. This is a marmite item... Some days I like it, and some days I just live with it. I would say this mascara is an all rounder as it is lengthening and volumising. However, it does not give me the volume I want. It is not my Miss Manga mascara; therefore I would not repurchase this again... Plus, it dried out in a few months.
The L'oreal Miss Manga is my favourite mascara, but L'oreal's Miss Hippie is definitely a running up. I don't know what makes the two different in terms of formula, but the wand on the Miss Hippie is definitely more stable as it's not bendy like the original Miss Manga. Would I purchase this again? Yes, I would. But, next time I would like to try the both at the same time, so I could figure out the difference.
A lip balm I just finished up is the Blistex Triple Butters Lip Balm. This is like every other lip balm I've tried. It's nourishing. It's smells nice. And it does the job. I recommend this if you want something cheap, in stick form, and for your everyday hang bag.

Another lip moisturising product I finished up, is the THEFACESHOP Shea Lip Cream. I've have already repurchase this lip cream, but in the Honey version (from the same line). However, the formula for the Shea and Honey are different. The Shea Lip Cream was my replacement for the Aloe Lip cream from The Body Shop as they discontinued it! - Why!... Even though they are very similar, the Shea Lip cream is more 'oily', whereas the Aloe Lip cream from The Body Shop was creamier. Would I buy the Shea version again? Yes. If The Body Shop bought back the Aloe Lip cream, would I repurchase this? That's a tough one.
Another product from THEFACESHOP, and it is their trendy nails base coat. I am a little confused about this product as it is labelled as a base coat, but the sale assistant said it is a top coat when I repurchased it. Just as I said, I did repurchase this, which means it must be pretty good, right?. But, my second bottle (the one I am using right now) is useless as base coat and top coat. So, I think they might have reformulated it or I got a bad one. So, would I repurchase my third bottle? My answer: '...'
And the last two items are hair care products; they are the L'oreal Coriander Shampoo and Conditioner (for fragile hair) which were featured in my Hair Care Routine. Since I've been using this duo for over 3 months, I can say for the amount you get, the price is great! However, this is not my Aussie Miracle Moist duo; therefore, I don't think I would repurchase this again... But, is it a good Shampoo and Conditioner? Yes. Did it strengthen my hair like it said on the bottle and tube? No. Plus, you will finish the conditioner before the shampoo - the ratio needs to be revised.
So, that is everything I remembered to put in my empties bag. I think I emptied more products, but I simply forgot to keep them... I hope you enjoyed this empties. Now I can put everything in the bin, and start all over again!
I'll see you soon,
Bye ♥
