Hey guys! Last week I mentioned that I will be showing you’re
my current skincare as it’s
currently summer and obviously
I bought some new stuff to try out! So without anymore blabbing, let’s get started!
The first thing I do is wash my face. I'm generally low
maintenance, so no double cleansing for me. The Origin’s Check and Balance is my current cleanser, and it's on its last leg. I don’t love this cleanser, but generally I don’t see
a difference when I use them; but I do know when I dislike them –
and this one is not one of them. If I am wearing makeup, I use the Simple’s
facial wipes to remove the bulk of it before going in with my cleanser to actually clean my face. I cleanse morning and night.
Since my face will be squeaky clean, I go in with a Nivea’s toner.
Just like most cleansers, I don’t see results with toner either; but I do like
how it feels on my skin. I either pat it into my skin, or I use a cotton round for a light
exfoliation. I do this both day and
night.
As I mentioned in last week's haul, Missha’s Treatment
Essence is supposedly a dupe for the SK-II Treatment Essence. After accidentally skipping a night, my skin freaked out! My skin must have enjoyed this, because it freak out when I stopped using it. So I will continue to use this, and update you in a later post. I use this only at night, and I pat this into my skin like a toner.
After the helping hand of the toner/essence, I drop a few
drops of the SEANTREE's Vita Capsule
Ample 100 on my forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin. Even though I have been
using this for nearly two months, I haven’t seen any changes. My skin
feels the same... But I'm not breaking out… So maybe it is doing something, but I can't see it? I use this both day and night.
Let me be a broken record, my pores need all the help they can get. I've been using The Saem Power Ampoule Pore Tightening to help my pores. My pores are still huge! - in terms of appearance. But in terms of sweatiness and oily-ness, I think I'm not that oily considering it's summer. So, I am on the fence with this product. I apply it the same way as a serum: forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin. However, I use this mostly at night, but sometimes during the day.
For my overly dry and tired eyes, I use the It's skin Power 10 Formula VC Eye Cream. In my personal opinion,
this is not thick enough. My eyes feels hydrating once it on, but after five minutes they feel dry again. So, the hunt for
the most hydrating under eye cream
will continue once this one is done. I use this both day and night; but at night, I will continue to re-apply for the continuity of hydration. *A tip I would like to mention is that I sometimes use this on my smile lines to smooth over the appearance of them.
I'm still using the same old moisturiser from the THEFACESHOP - Damyang Bamboo Moisturiser. This is my second tub, and I still have a third left! I use this day and night, but at night I will mix in the Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Glow Boost Skin
Serum to help with my hyper-pigmentation, and obviously to add some extra glow for the next day.
The last step of my morning routine is using the Rohto's SKIN AQUA UV Moisture Gel Sunscreen SPF35+ PA+++ as my sun protection. I mentioned this before, but this is lighter than the Biore sunscreen I raved about in my first Asian skincare haul! This is currently number 1 on my list of favourite sunscreens! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
So that is my daily summer skincare routine!
This is why I called myself a kinda low maintenance girl as I am lazy… but this
obviously does not show it. The full on pamper routine has more steps,
which I did not include as this post is already longer than I intended it to be. But that's all for this week! I’ll see you next
week for a fashion/style related post.
I’ll see you soon,
Bye ♥
