Korean Summer Skincare Haul | 2017

I love my Asian skincare products, and there's no doubt about that. They use the best technologies, the best ingredients, and they give back great results for a 'smaller' price tag! I have previously shared my first Asian skincare haul - ‘A Long Awaited Asian Skincare Haul’ - and since then, I started to invest my money in a “Asian Skincare Routine”. As previous to that, I mostly used ‘readily available brands’ such as L'Oreal, Garnier, Nivea etc. So without further ado, here are my most recent purchased within the Asian skincare market.

The first item that captivated my attention is a brand I never heard of - SEANTREE's Vita Capsule Ample 100. What intrigued me the most is that it claims to help ‘saggy pores’. As someone with oily skin, I need all the help I can get with my pores. But besides my pores being my main concern, I also liked the sound of it claiming to brighten and illuminate rough and dull skin – which is basically me.

Another first impression product is The Saem Power Ampoule Pore Tightening. As I said, I need all the help I can get to tighten my huge enlarged pores! I know it’s genetic, but I will keep trying!

The first repurchased I made is Leejiham's TEATREE 90 ESSENCE. This is my favourite skincare product of all times! Why? It prevents tiny bumps, it prevents that painful pimple around that time-of-the-month, and it helps with hyper-pigmentation! And that is coming from someone will severely oily skin. It’s literally the best thing I ever tried; and this is my second bottle. True and tested. LOVE!

Since I stopped using Benefit’s eye cream, I have been on a hunt for a new one. It's skin Power 10 Formula VC Eye Cream is the one I chose as it claims to be hydrating and brightening – which I need for my overly dry and tried looking under-eyes.

This is definitely a ‘bang for your bucks’ as the Petitfee Black Pearl & Gold Eye Patches comes with 30 pairs for under £10. Now let me tell you, I do not have £30 to spend on the readily available packs in Boots; neither do I want to spend £10 for a pair. JUST ONE PAIR! I rather wait 2 weeks for these in the post. Plus, I am sure the high street ones and these ones will give similar results.

I have heard this is the dupe for the SK-II Essence treatment, and it is Missha's Revolution The First Treatment Essence. I have never tried the SK-II version as it is a whopping £65-£184 (depending on size), as stated on Harrods. I would rather try the friendly version that cost £16 to see if it is worth incorporating it into my routine.

In my last haul I bought the Biore Aqua Sunscreen, and now I am trying Rohto's SKIN AQUA UV Moisture Gel Sunscreen Pump SPF35+ PA+++. I was supposed to get the one with SPF 50, but it was a mistake on my part, so I got the SPF 35. However, this is even lighter in weight than the Biore Sunscreen as it is a gel - which is kinda amazing and great for summer. Even though it is great, it does kinda smell faintly alcohol-ish, which my mum commented on while she was using it. It does go away as it sinks into the skin, so no problem on that part. But, for those with sensitive skin, I recommend you skip pass this product.

Another favourite repurchase, but from THE FACE SHOP, is their Lip Care Cream in Honey. I recently finished using my Shea version and decided to do a repurchased, but in the Honey version. The Shea tube lasted me for over a year, even though I used it every day, at least once a day. If you want to try a something similar to the Shea one, then the brand Eucerin has one. Highly recommend if you have dry sand paper lips like me.

And last but not least, and also from THE FACESHOP, a repurchased that I will keep going back, the BIO-CELL Sheet Masks. I have mentioned these in my last Asian skincare haul. They are absolutely the best sheet masks I have ever tried! Why? Instead of being a cloth soaked in serum, this one feels like a gel sheet mask - weird I know. But due to the mask's material, it does not slip off your face, and it makes it easier to smooth over the air bubbles so that it can grab every surface of the face. I have yet to try the 'Brightening' one, but I have used many of the 'Recovery' ones - it gets a thumps up from me!

So, that is everything I have curated. Out of everything, the eye patches, tea tree essence, the sunscreen, and the sheet masks... Game changing! Highly recommend! Currently, I am thinking about doing a post just on sheet masks - obviously I am obsessed. But besides that, come back next week for an updated skincare routine. I hope you enjoyed this week's post.

I'll see you soon,
Bye ♥
