A Long Overdue Asian Skincare Haul

All images belong(s) to their rightful owner(s)

If you don't know by now, I am super into my Asian skincare routine. So, if you're interested in having porcelain clear skin like the Koreans and Japanese (cause I want that!), I'll be talking about what I have in my skincare draws down below! (P.S. My skin is combination/oily; but where I'm oily, it's super oily)

Exfoliators
If you haven't heard of the Glow Recipe, head over to their YouTube channel if you want to know more about Asian skincare. This is where I discovered WONDWE BATH SALON DE TTE Skin Tung Recipe Cleansing Pad. It's essentially a cleansing/exfoliating pad (duh!) with one side for cleansing, and the other side for exfoliating. What I dislike about the exfoliating side is once you start rubbing your face, particles of what looks like rubber residue start to fall off your face. It's just messy, and they are expensive for what they are. I don't think I will repurchase them anytime soon.

Masks
The SKINFOOD Egg White Pore Mask is a cult product when it comes to Korean skincare, and a highly hyped one as well. I want to prove that I can change the size of my pores as I am blessed with humongous ones. No visible differences yet, but gonna keep going! Next up is a brand that I personally think the Wests will recognise, and that is Dr. Jart. I recently bought the Dr. Jart+ Most Moist Water Up Serum & Dr Jart+ Pore Refine Re-Tighten Mask. I still haven't had time to tried it out, but it probably be mentioned in either a favourites (if I like it) or an empties. Now for my favourite product in this category, and it is the sheet mask! I recently used the INNISFREE FACE SHEET MASKS and they get the thumbs up from me! And the most recent sheet masks I bought were the The FACE SHOP BIO CELL SHEETS MASKS. I think these are the newest editions to the shop's range as I've never seen them before. I love the older range from THE FACESHOP, so I will keep you posted on this one.

Serums+Essences+Emulsions
These three products should be the hardcore products in any skincare regiment. If you don't know, Essences are the concentrated version of the serums. Apparently, you should use the most watery consistency products first, as they can easily penetrate the skin without a thick moisturiser in the way. And starting off with my saviour, the  LJH Tea Tree 90 Essence help balances and prevent any breakouts from happening. I also highly recommend to use this if you suffer from hyper-pigmentation as I mentioned in a previous blog post. The ETUDE HOUSE Zero Sebum Oil Cut Silky Essence is something I would not repurchase again. It feels more like a primer than a skincare product. And the last product for my oily dehydrated skin is the Missha Super Aqua Ice Tear Emulsion. I think it's doing something, but I can't see any visible changes to my skin... At least no breakouts right?

SPFs
The last and most important step to any skincare, I use the BIORE UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence Sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++. This is the only Japanese product in my haul and I love it! My friend introduced me to this. It can be used for the face and body, and it sinks into the skin instantly! If you want a cheap, non-sticky, high SPF, and overall amazing sunscreen... This is the one!

The big reveal! I bought everything on eBay! I know people think it's shady to buy off eBay; but if you want a product like the Innisfree masks, you should buy it from someone who lives in the country the product is based in. Why you might ask? Because Asian skincare products sold in the West are ridiculously expensive. The sellers on eBay have access to the correct retail price, and so selling it nearly for the same price. If the items did not arrive during the estimated dates, you can easily ask for a refund or a replacement. If the seller won't cooperate, then eBay will get involve and they will refund you instead. All in all, do your research before buying anywhere on the internet.

So that is everything I have curated in the last 3 months! I hope you give eBay a chance, and try some of these products out! Happy shopping! I'll see you next week!

Bye ♥
