FIRST PRODUCT EMPTIES OF 2017

Hey guys! I am back and fresh from having some time off during Christmas and New Years! Whilst my Christmas and New Year’s Day was amazing, soon after 2017 has started off I ended up being poorly. Now that's all over, I am back and ready to start the now content rolling for the New Year! So of course, let’s start with reviewing all the rubbish I managed to used up – Basically an EMPTIES.

Skincare
Now I officially understand all the hype coming from the Garnier Micellar Water. It’s incredibly gentle, removes makeup efficiently, and it does feel like water. Simply incredible! (Plus I already have a number of backups).

I will not be buying the Clean and clear 2-in-1 face wash and face mask again. I felt like the face wash cannot control my skin’s problematic conditions, and it did not feel nice whilst it was on my skin.

Lush will always have a small place in my heart, as they don’t test on animals and they are an all natural brand. But the Prince of Darkness mask is something I won’t be purchasing again. Simply because I don’t think it did anything beneficial for my skin. Plus it made my sink stain just a tiny bit after washing it off.

Toners. They have always been a ‘mehhh’ product for me. I don’t actually know what it’s doing to my face, but it feels incredible considering my face feels tight after washing my face. I have gone through a Nivea’s toner, and I am currently using my second Simple’s Kind To Skin Soothing Facial Toner.

Next up is the Simply Pure Hydrating Serum. I was quite surprised it lasted a long time, considering I use 1½-2 pumps on my face twice a day. I have moved onto another product, but I would definitely recommend this and I don’t mind purchasing this again.

I have bought myself the Tonly Moly Pore strips as I am into my Korean Skincare, but I don’t considering myself buying them again. About three of the pore strips did not work properly on me. I say, go on ebay and buy some Biore’s pore strip as they are cheaper than in Boots, and they actually work!

And lastly, Benefit’s Its Potent Eye cream. If I am truly honest, I don’t see any results in my undereyes being brighter, but it definitely made my eyes feel less tight than it usually do.

Makeup
During the summer, I decided to venture out from my Miss Manga Mascara and decided to try the Maybelline’s Classic Volum’ Express Mascara. I love having volume more than anything on my lashes, as I have long lashes (as people told me), but not too many of them. At first I didn’t like it, but as time went on, I reached for it more and more. I would explain this as my everyday voluminous eyelashes. I doesn’t give too much va va voom, but it gives just the right amount of it.  I would repurchase this again.

L’oreal’s Miss Manga. Enough said. You already know how much I love it, and I will definitely repurchase it again.

As I already explained  in two posts last year (I think), the Nyx’s Soft Matte Lipcream in Dubai is my darkish nude. It fits my complexion, and naturally I already have a backup of it, because I love it so much!

Body
The Mitchum deodorant is currently my fav. I completely finished my first bottle in the Powder Fresh scent, which I love. But I regretted my second scent of choice so much. DO NOT BUY THE UNSCENTED SCENT. I REPEAT. DO NOT BUY IT (unless you want to smell like a wet dog). I didn’t even finish half of it before deciding enough was enough and threw it out. I am currently using the Shower Fresh scent, and that smells amazing! I recommend the deodorant, but don’t get the Unscented scent. I already warned you.

I have finished tons of soaps in the last few months, but I am not loyal to any brand out there. So don't worry, as I am assuring you I am always squeaky clean!

Hair
The Tresemme heat protective spray has been my bae for my hair. I currently trying some new hair protective spray out at the moment, but when I'm done using it, I will definitely be repurchasing the Tresemme one.

Lastly, the Aussie’s Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner duo has made new life to my hair. It has definitely made my hair much softer than any treatment masks has done in the past. I will be repurchasing this if I don’t like my current Aussie’s duo after finishing it.

So that is all the empties I can remember emptying in the last three to four months. I hope you enjoy this new and first official post of 2017. I hope you have an amazing day, and come back soon as there will be something new up on this blog every week.

See you soon,

Bye
