Sanctuary 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask

In my last post, I've mention that I recently brought the 'Sanctuary 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask' which was recommended by Lily Pebbles, Amelia Liana and Viviannadoesmakeup. As promised I'm going to do a review about the product.

Throughout the nearly-2-ish week of trying my first product from Sanctuary, I feel like it doesn't do anything much. I've used the product 3 times since I've brought it and personally it doesn't beat the  'Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed Deep Pore Detox Mask' which does everything and more.

The first time I used it, the first thing I notice was the consistency of the product, which seems gel-like. The application of the product doesn't spread evenly and I don't like the smell, which I shouldn't have been surprised because I'm putting clay onto my face! When working the mask into the skin, it heated for no more than 10 seconds and there was no cooling sensation like I was expecting. Don't quote me on this, but I think somebody said that their blackheads would appear onto the surface... that wasn't the case for me. The product itself claims to brighten duller-looking skin, which I think doesn't do, because my skin doesn't look anymore glower than using my normal face wash.

Overall, I think it cleans my skin like a normal face wash, but it doesn't feel like a treatment. This maybe works best for normal skin, as I have oily skin. However, since it didn't work for me, doesn't mean it won't work for you.
