Damage has been done today and I'm going to show you what I've brought.
Many of these products I've seen in advertisements, or been suggested from reading other's blogs and watching YouTube videos. Some are just repurchase and some are impulse buys.
Deodorant
1. Dove Original - what caught my eyes is that it doesn't have alcohol which darken the underarms
2. Nivea Stress Protect - This calms to protect for 48 hours in stressful situations, which is great as I live in London . A bonus, also doesn't contain alcohol.
Skincare
1. Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed - This was last seen in my spring empties and in all honesty I love this mask, and since I've stop using it, pimples have popping up everywhere! This mask turns blue when massage onto the skin and heats up, which makes you feel like all the impurities are going to go away which is seems to do. This product is simply a staple in my life!
2. Sanctuary 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask - I've first heard about this mask in Amelia Liana and Lily Pebbles Budget Skincare Favorites and Viviannadoesmakeup video on face masks and Lily Pebbles blog post, I finally bit the bullet and brought the face mask. I'm going to try this and update to you about this soon.
3. Simple Hydrating Light Mosituriser - I've brought this in mini form as in boots they do a 3 for 2 offer and if this breaks me out, I won't mind throwing it away cause it's so small.
Lips
1. Revlon Lipstick in 'Black Cherry' - Even though it's a winter colour, I would still wear it, because it's sometimes better to standout as everyone else is looking the same. It's definitely a standout colour which is great, as a bold lips will make your face look flawless even if there not make up on.
2. Blistex Relief Cream - This is definielty a lifesaver, in winter my lips were so cracked and dry that this was the only product that can fix it. Even in summer my lips are like sandpaper, so I'm really happy to have this back in my life. This is definitely to be worn at night or an hour before going out, as it leaves a white cast for about 5 minutes, but it leaves a tingly sensation.
3. Blistex MedPlus Repairing - I was intrigue as I think it's similar to the Relief Cream. However, I was pulled in because it said Cocoa Butter, which means it must taste like chocolate, right? I'm going to keep this one in my handbag for topups and it has SPF 15 which is great.
Hair
1. Ruth Crilly's COLAB Dry Shampoo - I heard so much about this dry shampoo and many reviews says its amazing! And since being a brunette having darker hair is prone to have residue show up, I'm hoping this will live up to make expectations. Had a hard time picking which one I wanted, so I picked London (duh!) and New York which is supposedly to be fruity. If I pop into Superdrug again, I will definitely pick up the extra volume one.
2. Trevor Sorbie Protect and Shine - This was an impulse buy, as in boots there was a 3 for 2 and I needed one more item. No matter, since it's summer, there a lot of heat therefore it's good to have protections for your hair.
Nails
1. Essie Strawberry and Cream - This duo intrigue me, as I was looking for a white and red nail polish. Even though boots were have 2 Essie nails for £14 the duo was £12.99. This is also fitting for the English summer as Wimbledon is on all day.
2. Revlon Quick Dry Base Coat - I decided to try this on a whim because it was 3 for 2 offer (who doesn't like an offer?) in boots and seeing a recent advert I wanted to try the a top coat from Revlon so I picked this base coat to seal the deal. This base coat dry fairly quickly and applies really nicely.
3. Revlon Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat - Which is the topcoat I wanted to try, surprisingly the shine was not up to my expectations, maybe because I'm not using a Revlon nail polish to go along with it, but it definitely has a shine. Dries really quickly and I will keep you guys up to date on my nails.
4. Revlon Liquid Quick Dry - As I said before Revlon had a 3 for 2, so I brought this just incase the nails didn't dry fast enough, but they did. However I still think this is worth the investments, because sometimes we think our nails are dry, but then we suddenly have a smudge which can really be annoying. So, better be safe than sorry.
5. Revlon Nail in 'Vixen' or '570' - is definitely not a summer colour, but rock whatever colour that you are feeling and seem to give you the confidence.
6. Revlon Colourstay Gel Envy in 'Queen of Hearts' or '600' - definitely a darker red and not the typical bright red nails. The name is very suited to the colour as it reminds me of the colour of blood.
That is all for my post today, hope you enjoy reading my first beauty haul and hope to see you guys soon! Bye :)
