Imperfections ♥
With models, superstars and people telling us what we should and should not do. Life today has brought many people to feel insecure about their looks, talents, body and what not. But those imperfections are what makes you different...
Different. Is something that I didn't want to be before. I wanted to be normal. But what is the definition of 'normal'. We just keep finding the imperfections in ourselves, when we are completely blinded about the beautiful things we have.
'I have a pimple'. Cover my whole face in heavy foundation, stacking layers and layers. You have one pimple on your entire face, yet you put foundation everywhere just to hide the one thing that doesn't make you happy?
'I look fat'. Starve yourself for a week hoping to lose weight. No! Don't do that to yourself! Change your habits, and your body with react with all the good things you give it.
'You fail a test'. It's not the end of world. Sometimes I think it's stupid to judge someone on their grades. Does that truly shows the value of a person?
What is the fundamental basic of human is completely forgotten. As humans, we try to find other humans flaws so we can feel better about ourselves. Yes, sometimes we say things without thinking, but you are completely hurting someone without knowing.
Now we pick 'looks' over 'talent'. 'Grades' over 'Passion'. I'm not saying someone with the 'Grades' should be cast to one side, I'm saying that everyone in life deserve to have a chance, not to be put to one side just because the don't have the 'looks', because they don't have the 'grades'. That why the world is such a competition to be the best in everything, because if you have everything, you're 'perfect'.
I say if you're perfect, what goals would you have in life? You basically have none. You rather be imperfect, because that what makes you special. For example the stars in the sky, not all of them are the same, none of them will be the same, but they have there own light. That as human we should strive for, because in the end, those imperfection are what makes us perfect.
