Just as I have promised! Another BOOKCLUB post for this month!
This week I'll be telling you guys about The Hidden Princess (if you have not noticed the title of this post). I have already told you guys a million-and-one-times that I just love a good bad ass female protagonist. So, if you are not into that type of book then you can click out. Did I forget to mention there's some magic involved too? This book is relatively an easy read for me. I said it was easy because I finished it in five hours. So depending on how much you like to read and your attention span, I still think you'll still will enjoy this book. I'm gonna stop the blabbing and tell you more about the book.
Amelie is one of the Princess in the kingdom called Candor. Besides Candor, there are four other kingdoms in the realm that has been able to keep the peace of the treaty that was made two hundred years ago. The kingdoms are living separately in order to keep the peace; no one should cross the border and venture into another kingdom to disrupt the balance of the treaty. Of course Amelie occasionally goes as a spy for her kingdom. She is the Hidden Princess. Forgotten by her kingdom as she was cast away at the tender age of thirteen as she was able to seduce men - the power of persuasion. One day, Amelie was ordered to go on another mission, but it required her to enter Draeden - a neighbouring kingdom. Amelie had never gone too deep into another terriorty before. She is entering new land. Whilst doing her mission, she comes across a strange fellow who resisted her seduction. Who is this man? Will Amelie ever accept her fate? And will she learn that she does have the ability to love?
That is all I can give away for this story. I have read the second book to this series, so obviously I love this book. As soon as I finished the second one, I rushed to find the third. Sad new, it has not been released yet (cries). So, if my dedication of finishing the second and finding the third does not show you how much I love this book, then I don't know what will! If you have read this book or want to read this, comment down below! Plus I have something new coming up next week and an announcement!
Bye ♥
