I have finished another book once again, and in less than 48 hours! Does that not show you how much I enjoy reading this fantasy romance novel? Love it! Straight after finishing the book, I went straight to the Kindle shop to search for the next book in the series. And guess what I found?! Sheer disappointment! Some says that the book is going to be release in late September this year (I pray to God that it does) or in 2017 (cries). As many of you may have guessed by now, I love a female protagonist in a romance fantasy novel with some sort bad-ass action and feisty personality, and this is exactly it! I have so many other books to recommend to you guys if you love this type of genre. But if you not into it, I still can recommend other books if this does not float your boat.
Here is my short overview of the book of The Winter King. "Storm" is one of King's daughter - the princess that the kingdom has forgotten. After a long war against the Winter Kingdom, the Winter King is in search for his prize. He has chosen one of the Seasons (Storm's sister) to be his bride. His bride will have to give birth to his future heir. The heir to his Winter Kingdom as retribution to losing his heir which caused the war between the two kingdoms. When the Winter King and Storm crosses paths, sparks fly.
This is my basic summary of plot of the story. Many will think that the story is leaning toward an obvious plot. However, the details within the story causes the dynamic of plot to be exciting and the utterly unexpected for any reader. I highly recommend you this book, as I am eagerly waiting for the next one.
Sorry that this blog post seems shorter than the rest of my book club themed posts, as the finishing date of this post is different to my initial starting date. I hope you come back for more. By the time this post goes live, I have finished The Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas, Uprooted by Naomi Novik and Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge. I am currently reading Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire. For my next read, I am considering The Cold King by Amber Jaegar or I might start the Rick Riordan Nordic series or I might completely start a different book! I will update you on the book I decided to read in the next book club post, but good bye for now.
See you soon ♥
