Continuing on the theme of renewal, decluttering etc... If you checked out Monday's post, then you'll know I did a Spring update to my wardrobe. I'll be showing you all the stuff I've bought next Monday, so stay tuned for that. Besides focusing on easily access shops, this is also focusing on affordable and good quality clothing item. Right now, I'll be telling you guys where is the best place to shop on the high street/online.
Online
ASOS is everyone's best friend. Everything is all in one place, with clear pictures, styling ideas, and runway walks of the model wearing the piece. Great! However, this is where impulse buying is very very bad. Plus, most of the time you're disappointed as the material or fit was not what you hoped for. However, this applies to all online shopping experiences, so do not worry if you don't get it right in one go.
Missguided is another online favourite. They follow the latest trend really well, but I do not like the return process as my click&collect is miles away. Same as always when it comes to online shopping, you cannot guarantee that everything you will receive you will love; but this is the whole point of try and error.
High Street Stores
Forever 21 is great overall as price, quality, and styles are all reasonable. I personally find it easier to shop online, but in-store you can feel the material, and try it on there and then. I love Forever 21 skirts and shorts, but why you gotta be so short! They need to add at least 1 - 2 inches to all their mini skirts and short shorts, then I will never return anything from them.
GAP was a pleasant surprise to shop at. I would recommend shopping both online and IRL. They have discount codes all the time online, which is great! Another great bonus, some full priced clothing items in-stores with have up to 40% discount on a specific day or week. If there is a sale in-stores, some items will be cheaper than online - I don't know why, but at least you're saving pennies. Online sale shopping in GAP is also great as not everything can be found in-stores.
H&M is an iffy one. You must be willing to root through everything (even their sales) to find great pieces. Sometimes, they don't stock the item you want in store, so that's where you can shop online. Their delivery service is amazing. I like shopping online and in IRL when it comes to H&M.
That is it for my recommendations! Even though I've been shopping a ton, I've been strict and keeping stuff I truly love. So most of the stuff I've ordered/bought was returned if it doesn't fit/suits me well. I've ordered, exchanged, and returned so much, that my postman must hate visiting me now. I'll haul the things I kept next week, so come back on Monday if you're curious! (click for haul here).
Thank you for visiting. I'll see you soon,
Bye ♥
