It's summer! And practically music festivals are popping everywhere! Music is great all year round, but listening to your fav song while walking down the street on a sunny day is just bliss. Music is extraordinary, as it can reflect our moods and change our moods. Basically music is just great, and here are some songs which are constantly on repeat in my life!
My obsession is Never Forget You by MNEK featuring Zara Larsson. This song is soooooo good! I just love how it's almost like an internal convo between lovers/ex-lovers, and how both of them want the relationship, but they don't get back together. It's one of moment, where I'm like 'you are perfect for eachother!, why?!'. Plus, I can feel like the artists are emotionally connected to the song.
Basement Party by MAX just wanna make me chill-dance. Listen, you will get what I mean.
Sucker for Pain from the upcoming movie Suicide Squad. I think I like this song, because there are sooooooooooooo many different artists collaborating in one song (Imagine Dragon, Ambassadors, Lil Wayne etc.), and there is chill vibe aspect to the song. Plus this song is making me extra excited for the movie!
There is running theme, none of these songs are like summer-party-vibes, but here is another one to add to the list! Heathens by Twenty One Pilots. And its another song which is gonna be on the Suicide Squad soundtrack. I can only explain this song as dark, and the vibes it gives off reminds me of a very dark-mad-house prison, which is really fitting as the characters in movie are criminals.
Final two songs and its from another soundtrack, Not Today by Imagine Dragon, and a throwback Photograph by Ed Sheeran. Complete surprise from Imagine Dragon as its a complete 180 turn from Demon and Radioactive. Both songs are just as heartbreaking and it gives so much feels. Recommend the movie Me, Before you as well.
