Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream. Say no more! It was love at first apply (eh, eh, see what I did there?). The browns, nudie pinks or muave is everywhere, especially the matte look. But being deep skin, it was tough for me finding the right shade. I don't like the pinkish browns as I think it does not suit my yellow undertone. Thanks to one of my lovely friends, she introduced me to the shade Dubai and end of story. As soon as I arrived back from my trip, I dash to Boots and proceeded to buy the shade. I was also enabled (not, really...I was just excited to be shopping with friends!) to buy the colour Berlin, which has a reddish-pink undertone for a brown. I love them both so much and depending on the day, I constantly keep switching it up between the two!
The Marks and Spencer's Bronzer. Confession time. I don't use this for bronzer, but rather for eyeshadows. I receive it within a set of other presents for my birthday last year, and as soon as I saw it, I was 'Me? Bronzing?...Ummmm, no thanks'. I already have deep skin so I didn't see the point. Until... I was clearing my draws about a few weeks ago, and discovered it among all the clutter. Til this day, no eyeshadow palette has really satifised me, until I realised the colours in the bronzer are perfect! (It has two colours like the soap and glory bronzer). The warm reddy bronzer is my crease shade and the lighter bronze for all-over the lids. Simply perfection.
The Sephora Cream Lip Stain in 01- Always Red. It is a classic, hollywood, Marilyn Monroe blue undertone red. A bold statement. Smear proof, transfer proof and easily removable with a makeup remover.
My Current Attempt of a Vanity (Post soon). I finally brought a clear muji style make organisation for my makeup collection. I decided to get the one, as I wanted to narrow down my makeup collection and have things I definitely know I will use and love. Currently it all fits, but I feel like it heading down to the over spill soon.
My Zara Bomber Jacket. Such a simple statement piece jacket. Got it in the sale (all the more reason to love it) and it goes with all my outfits. As I said in my wardrobe clear out post (I think?...), I am only buying when I instantly fall in love with a piece, and when I know I can style it with my current wardrobe. This piece is so versatile, and it keeps me warm during those windy days.
My Nike Trainers. I had my Nikes for about 5 years I say, and I had refallen in love with them. I never thought to use them leisurely besides working out, but darrrrrnnnnnn they are comfortable... Even more so than my converse (I can't believe I just said that!). I am still on a hunt for some new fashion trainers, but for now, I am loving these.
Kindle. I mentioned this before, but I'm still loving it. I do most of my readings in the summer, so I've been busy. I will mentioning my favourites soon for my monthly book club series at the end of the month.
The Iphone 6S. I know the 7 is around the corner, and I've been loyal to the odd numbers from the range of iphones, but my iphone 5 was in bad shape. Plus I am kinda scared, and annoyed that the iphone 7 might not have a jackhead for earphones (Don't quote me on this!).
Volvic Flavored Water (Lime and Lemon). I hate drinking water. I really do. And no matter what I do, slice some lemon and mix it with water, it does not taste the same! This is enabling me to drink more water, and maybe soon enough I will love drinking plain old water.
White Chocolate Chip Cookies. I know this is completely a random favourite, but I'm just being honest here. I have one nearly everyday as a sweet treat after having my dinner. I highly recommend the one from M&S, you won't be disappointed.
I need to give a shout out to Starbucks ice green tea latte. It's bomb!
Those are my top ten-ish things I am loving so far in 2016! I tried to keep it short, but it never seems to go according to plan! Oh well, hoped you enjoy it and leave a comment down below of your favourites as these are only a few of mine.
See you soon!
Bye ♥
