Cleanse and Polish | Lush Haul

First thing first, this is not about the Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish Cleanser, but the jobs of the products I have brought from Lush.

In my recent post about my skincare - linked here - I have mentioned both of these newly introduced products into my skincare routine. Most skincare products takes time before it can be judge, but since these are pampery-effective-target-problems-should-see-results-after-a-few-application products, I decided to talk about why I decided to buy the products, if it was worth it and would I buy it again.

The Prince of Darkness was recommended to me, as I wanted a all purpose mask. One of the lovely worker at Lush recommended a few options to choose from after I explained all of my concerns. I wanted something that would clear out my pores (detoxify the skin), give me radiant and soothe the redness. Seems like a lot to ask for in a mask, but the worker didn't seem to run away from the idea, and so she recommended this mask - The Prince of Darkness.  The mask contains charcoal which help absorb excess oils and purify the skin by clearing out the pores. As the mask has a grainy consistency from the salt and charcoal, it helps to exfoliate the dead and dry skin away. Lastly, it has lavender which will help soothe the skin. This mask is a 2-in-1, as sometimes I leave it on for 15 minutes or I use it to do a quick exfoliate. It is a fresh mask, so it has to be kept in the fridge and it has an expiry date. It is also exclusive to the Lush at Oxford street.

Would I buy it again? I don't think so. I am more eager to try the different available masks at Lush and other stores. I am not mad that I spent money on this mask, but it is not an instant miracle worker. I will give it 2/5, because I have high standards and I personally think there is no mask which can have my score of 5/5. I recommend this oily skin peeps.

The Ultrablend is my first ever cleansing balm. This was the first product I picked up while I was mooching around in Lush. I wanted something to remove my full face of mask, will little use of the product. I massage the product onto my face and clear it out with a warm face clothe. I does not take long to remove my makeup and there is usually very very little residue left.

Would I buy it again. Meh. I can live without this product in my life as I also use Micellar water to remove makeup. It does the job and there is really no fault to it (except the smell, but it's not offensive).

So, that is my Lush Haul and review. Leave down a comment of your favourite Lush product(s).

See you next time,
Bye ♥
