I did promise myself I will be diligent and post something new every single week since my fitness update, but I guess it better late than never. I'm sure you can forgive me, as there is love in the air. And if you have no idea why, continue reading and the extra hint is in the title of this post.
I am sure there's tons of love around you as Valentines is seriously around the corner. But for those of us who are spending time with me, myself and I, I'm sure you would like to spend the day treating yourself. It can be a whole Domino's pizza while you netflix and chill (literally), a pamper routine, doing a huge shopping spree online, or all of the above (which I will be doing). To help with my pamper routine I went to lush to sniff some really nice stuff out, and rumours has it that there's some cute unicorn horns there (who can resist?). Out of all the Valentines themed products available, I bought only two things. Reason no.1, most of the Valentines scent I did not fancy; and reason no.2, all the stuff I did fancy were readily available all year round.
The first item that I picked up was the Two Hearts Beating As One (linked) bath melt. I personally picked it up because of the scent, and the fact that you can use the product more than once. I am thinking of mixing this with a bath bomb like Sex Bomb, because it will help to make my skin feel nourished and moisturised. And if you didn't know, most bath bomb is just used to make the bath look pretty, and it does not have as much benefits as other products available at Lush.
The second and last Lush item I picked out was Lover Lamp (linked). This bath bomb is different to the other bath bomb avaliable, because the red hearts are actually bath melts. As the bath bomb fizzes, the hearts will start floating on top of the water and melt due to the heat of the bath, causing the bath to turn a light pink shade (the lady in the shop told me, so don't quote me on that).
I can assure you there's probably more Valentines Lush products available, but the Lush store I visited was on the smaller size to the average store size. In my store I didn't see any Valentines bar soaps, so I could have picked some up if I had the chance to sniff some of them. Lastly and randomly, I think the current Lush paper bags are super cute.
