What Is On My Nails...
Sorry for missing out on blogging the last couple of weeks, I've been revising and doing tests... so it wasn't out of laziness!
So, if you haven't figured it out from the title, we gonna talk about my favs and that is nails.
This Spring/Summer I've been into the pastels and the mute-ish bright colours. Recently, I've been mixing and experimenting with different colours. All of the colours (except the red) is all colours that I made to my own taste. I was inspired by the new "Nails Inc" polish (the range where all the colours were slightly off white), but since it came with a hefty price tag, I decided to create my own. I basically went into the supermarket and brought a white nail polish and when I got home, I mixed it with a colour until I got the colour I desired. Fairly simple isn't it? This can be done to any nail polish, not just pastels. But as you can see I've been loving this shade of red as well. It's a red with an orange undertone. My best explanation for the colour, is a mixture of lipsticks from MAC called 'Lady Danger' and 'Russian Red'. If they wanted to make a baby, but in nail polish format - then it be this colour.
So, those are my favourites nails for the seasons, what are yours?

Review: Maybelline Baby Lips (2 Edition)
(Left: UK Version and Right: Asian Version.)
Even though the packaging was different, I took the non tinted one. Let me tell you this. The formula is actually different. I don't know why, but shouldn't all products have the same formula? Strange isn't it. I thought maybe because 'Western' and 'Asian' might have different skin types or whatever, but even so, why?
Out of curiosity I tried researching it but found nothing.
Comparison
I prefer the 'Asian Version' of the Baby Lips, because the formula is much more creamy and hydrating, which is what you want in a lip balm.
The 'UK Version' of the Baby Lips, felt like plastic wrap on my lips. It didn't help my lips at all! I needed the hydration, because it was winter in England. I gave up using it after a week, because it destroyed my lips.
I definitely liked the 'Asian Version' much more, as it did everything I wanted. I recommend it as an 'everyday top up' hydration, but not an overnight one.
Even though the 'UK Version' was horrible for my lips, it can be used as a highlighter! Didn't see that one coming did you? Apply it on your cheek bones, and when the light hit the area, it gives the face more dimension. I would recommend using it as a highlighter during spring/summer, because it's blends into the skin beautifully and gives the right amount of luminosity.
♥♥♥ See you soon ♥♥♥
